Our approach to project management provides our customers with a single point of contact or “project manager” throughout the project.
At OFS, project management encompasses three specific stages.
1.) Planning
An OFS Project Manager will attend meetings with key vendors on the project to include, Construction managers, electricians, phone/data cabling providers and others to gather critical project information. Furniture installation process and schedules are developed.
2.) Execution
Any issues identified during the planning stage are communicated to the appropriate personnel and resolved. Status reports are generated that keep both the customer and team members up to date and on track. Regular site visits are made to the new space to ensure all activities are progressing as planned.
3.) Supervision
An OFS furniture installation supervisor is assigned by the project manager to run the day to day installation crew. Any critical project information and schedules are reviewed with the supervisor. Together with the project manager, the furniture installation process is completed. Any punch list issues are identified & documented, through a detailed walk thru of the new space with the customer. |
